Back In the Saddle

I don’t think I’ve ever talked about my job on here. I have a very small part time job that I just happened to fall into. Like some of my other part time fit into my schedule jobs, it’s weird and kinda unconventional. I clean bounce houses. Not just bounce houses though, I clean obstacle courses, giant water slides and whatever else the owner has rented out recently. I only work about 3 hours a day, 4 days a week. I started this job as a way to get into shape and not have to pay a gym membership. It’s like the gym pays me.

Anyway, because I’d been under the weather and had also hurt my hip I had been out for almost 2 weeks. It’s just myself and the owner that work there, except when his kids come to help sometimes. Luckily today was pretty easy because, although I have to wipe down every surface inside and out, they were actually clean.

I only manage to do 2-3 a day and this was the first one I unrolled and inflated. One of the perks is that I can go down the slides and jump to my hearts content. My heart was contented pretty quickly after the first few months.

The second one did need vacuuming first. There is a bounce area behind the slide. I don’t mind doing these, but there are some that I really don’t enjoy.

These are not my favorite. When this was taken it was over 100 degrees and we were all feeling it.

But out of the 30 plus inflatables that we have I like most of them and really like my job. I guess I’m still just a kid at heart.
